youth are driven by self centeredness? yes we are?! haha.. the arena's topic for today. sounds intersting? indeed it is :) seeing those sngs & mgs girls debating on the issue of youths' self centeredness. well, i absolutely agree with the statement that youths are driven by self centeredness. however, youths nowadays are also driven by superficiality which many adults & parents have overlooked. being a student in a secondary school for the past five years, have i seen the most horrendous students? yes i probably do, if u allow me to explain why are they horrendous? if you have good looks or are well-known for a particular reason, youths do treat you differently. how differently, you may asked? totally different! thats what i can say. they worship those who dressed considerably nice or popular becos youths are SUPERFICIAL! those who excel academically or non-academically, but are average or slightly below average looking, they ignore instead of recognise. looks far outweighs beyond personality & ability in this case, and this is the mindset youths are carrying nowadays. superficiality will not bring you far, although it do benefit us in some areas in life! after all, looks will only bring you to a certain level, and the rest is still up to you to see if u are capable to proof that you have both the looks & the ability. you can disagree with me, but this is how i feel towards the youths, including me nowadays.
